Fuvahmulah Scuba Club and Fuvahmulah City Council showcased Fuvahmulah as a premier destination at the DRT Show Hong Kong 2024

From December 13 to 15, 2024, Fuvahmulah Scuba Club proudly represented the exceptional diving experiences of Fuvahmulah Island at the DRT Expo 2024 in Hong Kong. Our team was led by Sales Manager Joyce Osorio, joined by Yuen Ying Ching, our dedicated Chinese Language Translator from Hong Kong, and supported by the Fuvahmulah City Council. Fuvahmulah Scuba Club, in partnership with the Fuvahmulah City Council, made a powerful impact at the DRT Show Hong Kong 2024

The DRT Expo, one of Asia’s largest diving, resort, and travel exhibitions, provided the perfect platform to showcase Fuvahmulah Island’s unparalleled offerings. With its unique marine ecosystem, world-class tiger shark encounters, and luxurious dive tourism packages, Fuvahmulah is emerging as a global hotspot for divers and ocean enthusiasts.  

Joyce Osorio, the Sales Manager, invited potential future partners she met at the Hong Kong Dive Expo to visit Fuvahmulah Island through a Famtrip, offering them the opportunity to experience the island’s unique diving, cultural richness, and hospitality firsthand. This initiative aims to build strong partnerships and provide a deeper understanding of what Fuvahmulah has to offer to international clients and travel operators.

Connecting with a Global Audience  

Throughout the three-day event, our team engaged with a diverse audience of dive enthusiasts, tour operators, and industry professionals. We highlighted the wide array of experiences available on the island, from thrilling encounters with tiger sharks and giant pelagics to all-inclusive packages featuring premium accommodations, meals, and domestic flights.  

Our team shared the commitment to safety, professionalism, and eco-conscious diving, which resonated with visitors seeking extraordinary and responsible diving adventures. With Island, Diving presentations, interactive displays, and one-on-one discussions, we successfully positioned Fuvahmulah Scuba Club as a leader in dive tourism and a trusted partner for international dive operators.  

Collaborating for Growth  

In partnership with the Fuvahmulah City Council, our presence at DRT Expo 2024 also aimed to strengthen Fuvahmulah’s position on the global tourism map. By collaborating with international dive agents and travel professionals, we forged new connections and explored opportunities for expanding our reach in the Chinese and Asian markets.
